A Local Legacy of Care

Colfax Animal Hospital was established in 1984 and has been a trusted part of the community for over four decades. Today, we continue that tradition with a family-owned practice that combines professional expertise with genuine hometown warmth.

Meet Dr. Nikki & Dr. Austin

Dr. Nikki and Dr. Austin Prichard met while attending veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, graduating together in 2019. After spending two years practicing in South Central Idaho, they returned to their home state of Wisconsin with their son, Logan, ready to build a life rooted in family, community, and care.

In September 2023, the husband-and-wife team joined the Colfax community as the new owners of Colfax Animal Hospital. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with their son and their own crew of animals—including dogs, chickens, goats, cattle, and a horse.
